Ph.D. in Bioengineering at Politecnico di Milano, carrying out research at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT), in the Biomedical Robotics Lab, Advanced Robotics Department (ADVR), in Genoa (2017). During the Ph.D., my main research topic was about the development of an enhanced vision system to improve safety in Robotic Minimally Invasive Surgery. I improved my Computer Vision skills during a period as PostDoc at PAVIS (Pattern Analysis and Computer Vision Department, IIT), working on automatic visual inspection in the context of highly efficient industrial applications. I am currently a Postdoc Researcher at the Biomedical Robotics Lab, ADVR at IIT, working on Computer Vision and Augmented Reality applied to Robotic Surgery. Previous research experiences include teleoperation and haptics for medical robotics.
