Saverio Farsoni received the Master Degree in Computer and Automation Engineering in 2012 and the Ph.D. in Science of Engineering in 2016 at the University of Ferrara, Italy. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Engineering, University of Ferrara, Italy where he holds the course of Control of Robotic Systems. His main research activities are focused on Motion Planning and Control of Industrial and Surgical Robots, Control Systems, Fault Detection and Diagnosis. Further activities include the design and development of simulation and training devices for medical personnel. He was also involved in industrial research activities with Italian companies working on the development of Autonomous Guided Vehicles and Collaborative Robotics. In 2023 he was the subject editor of the Special Issue “Nonlinear Control for Biomedical Application” for the International Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control. He is the author of more than 40 publications with more than 390 citations.
