Dr Mehrnoosh (Mez) Aref-Adib is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Whipps Cross Hospital (Barts Health NHS Trust), London and London Gynaecology. She trained in medicine at the University of Cambridge and University College London, and completed specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in North Central London.

She undertook a fellowship in advanced minimal access surgery in Melbourne in 2017 and is certified in hysteroscopy, laparoscopy and robotic surgery. She also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Obstetric and Gynaecological Ultrasound from King’s College London and is BSCCP-accredited in colposcopy.

Dr Aref-Adib has broad experience in gynaecology with a specialist interest in fibroids and benign surgery. She is skilled in ultrasound, colposcopy, and operative gynaecology.

She is actively involved in education, having developed and delivered training courses in the UK and Australia, and has published in journals, contributed to book chapters, and presented at national and international conferences. She is a contributor to study days and works with fibroid advocates and is a sub-committee member of the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE).

Outside work, she enjoys dancing, spinning, and socialising. She speaks Farsi fluently and is a mother of three.
