From 1985-1992 dr. M.J.W. Götte studied Medicine at Erasmus University, Rotterdam, The Netherlands. From 1995 to 2005 he did his PhD and Cardiology training at VUmc-Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Between 2011-2017 he was chief-trainer Cardiology (“Opleider A-opleiding Cardiologie”) and director of the Cardiac MRI service at Haga Teaching Hospital, The Hague, The Netherlands.
Since 2017 he is involved in a CMR research program at Amsterdam UMC – location VUmc, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. This research program is focused on the application of CMR for patients suffering from arrhythmia’s with emphasis on MRI-guided ablations, cardiac mechanics & electrophysiology and image analysis. The research team at Amsterdam UMC offers an inspiring and challenging environment for PhD students and post-docs.
