Healthcare Robots Learning to be Robots Using NVIDIA Isaac™ for Healthcare

This training lab aims to equip developers with the skills and knowledge required to train healthcare robots from scratch using NVIDIA IsaacTM for Healthcare. The training lab is structured into three comprehensive modules.

  • Module 1: Developers will learn the essentials of how to integrate their robotic assets and medical data into a simulation environment. Participants will be able to set up and configure the simulation framework effectively.

  • Module 2: We will demonstrate integrated robots using medical – specific data. We will coverthe implementation of imitation learning and reinforcement learning policies based on entirely simulated datasets, providing a robust foundation for training in the NVIDIA Isaac forHealthcare environment.

  • Module 3: Lastly, we will validate the trained policies within the simulation environment. Thisstep ensures the training has been successful and the policies are reliable before deployment

By the end of the training lab, participants will have a thorough understanding of the entire process from dependencies, developing, to training, and validating healthcare robots using simulated data in preparation for deployment.

Pre-requisites: This lab is designed for roboticists and medical imaging researchers who want to leverage simulation tools to develop and test autonomous. Prior experience with robotics and AI is helpful but not required. Python is required.

IMPORTANT: Please bring your own laptop to log into the training lab infrastructure. Each participant will get access to a L40s GPU to experience NVIDIA Isaac for Healthcare workflows first hand.

Seats are limited. Please request your seat—confirmed participants will receive a confirmation email.
