Description
This workshop brings together leading clinicians, engineers, researchers, and industry experts to understand the clinical needs, regulatory requirements, and current barriers to translation of robotic colonoscopy.
Participants will begin by engaging with clinicians through a series of short talks and a one-hour panel discussion, where they will share insights from both clinical and technical perspectives on the challenges in diagnostics and endoluminal therapeutics for colorectal disease.
In the second half, robotics researchers will showcase state-of-the-art technologies, seeking feedback from clinicians and industry professionals. This exchange will provide valuable insights into clinical applications and impact for all attendees, including clinicians, roboticists, and industry representatives.
Additionally, the program will cover regulatory strategies and commercialization pathways, equipping stakeholders with the knowledge needed to advance these innovations in gastrointestinal care. By fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing, the workshop aims to accelerate the development and adoption of robotic colonoscopy, transforming the field and improving patient outcomes.
Programme
The programme will be published in May.
